The painter's eye fixes the moment, revealing the emotion hidden behind the masks. These masks that we wear, that cover our features, the texture of our skin and the colour of our eyes. These masks that freeze us and confine us, and that we put on like a suit of armour... Why do these masks make us unknown to each other? A quest for anonymity or, conversely, to exist more strongly... As he himself says, what he seeks to paint is the reflection of the observer, a mirror that pierces behind the mask. A fleeting light, a silhouette among the mass of people he represents, sublimates his paintings and brings them to life.
